Our first day at LbL we had a very special visitor. Dawn came to teach us how to sew on my mom's sewing machine. She also taught the kids to finger knit. She was down for the V.W. run and is a long time Waldorf mom at the Desert Marigold in Pheonix. We have been friends since our first meeting at the Buses by the Bridge V.W. run 5 years ago. She shared some mama insight and recommended the book Unconditional Parenting to me. It was an absolute delight to have her visit and LbL's aprons, place mats and napkins are all sewn by her.
